On December 3, a Conference will be held to address the successful experiences of national, supranational, and NGO organizations that have had the opportunity to cooperate on humanitarian assistance in the event of natural disasters on the American continent.
During the event, actions taken in the Bahamas will be explored following Hurricane Dorian, which hit the sister country hard, but left a mark of solidarity and international cooperation that can serve as a parameter for similar situations that may occur in the hemisphere.
Brazil will expose experiences of fighting forest fires in the Amazon, and actions to receive immigrants on the border with Venezuela.
Finally, Colombia’s experience will also be presented, also on the topic of immigration.
