IADB to conduct a Disaster Relief Simulation Exercise

The Inter-American Defense Board (IADB), in coordination with Executive Secretariat for Integral Development (ESID) and Conference of Defense Ministers of the Americas (CDMA), to conduct a Disaster Relief Simulation Exercise to strengthen the Inter-American System.

The target audience for this event are the Delegations of the IADB member countries, members of the  Inter-American Committee for Natural Disaster Reduction (IACNDR), members of the Pro-Tempore Secretariat of the CDMA, national authorities in charge of Disaster Risk Management (DRM) and Civil Protection of the member countries of the Organization of American States (OAS) and the CDMA, head of departments or secretariats related to DRM and Civil Protection of the Ministries of Defense, Military Units Specialized in disaster relief, responsible for the Specialized Military Conferences such as: Conference of American Armies (CAA), System of Cooperation Among the American Air Forces (SCOAAF) and Inter-American Naval Conference (INC), and participants of Courses and Diplomates in specialization in GRD that have an agreement with the IADB.

The exercise will be held on May 26 and 27 and can be followed by interested parties on the Zoom and Youtube platforms.
